Faith more important than ever this Lenten season

NORTH ATTLEBORO - There's good and bad news to report in the war against COVID-19.

Reported cases continue to decline across the state and throughout the area. Statistics released Thursday show Plainville is no longer considered a "high risk community" and North Attleboro is out of that category for a second straight week.

People are still struggling, however, under the restraints implemented by Gov. Charlie Baker to stem the spread of the deadly disease.

The importance of faith during the pandemic, especially during this Lenten season, was discussed during a recording this week of the premiere edition of “Inside Look with Donna Perry.”

Perry’s guests were the pastor of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, the Rev. Rodney Thibeault, and the senior pastor of the Central Congregational Church, the Rev. Carole Baker.

The interview with Father Thibeault and Rev. Baker can be seen in its entirety starting next Friday, March 5 on North TV’s Community Channel: Comcast channel 15 and Verizon channel 24 in North Attleboro and Comcast channel 11 in Plainville.

The premiere edition of “Inside Look with Donna Perry” is available for streaming on any device at any time by registering to become a North TV Insider, a free service to North Attleboro and Plainville cable subscribers.
