Test 3

Leary, Kubacki named Players of the Game

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The threat of rain forced cancellation of North TV’s coverage of Monday night’s Stoughton at North boys’ soccer match. The lack of a press box at the high school’s Beaupre Field would have exposed audio equipment to the elements.

It is likely why tomorrow’s coverage of the soccer double-header between the Attleboro and North girls and boys – scheduled to be shown live – will likely be scratched, as well.

The weather was better than the result last Thursday, October 21 when North hosted Canton in field hockey, a 4-0 Bulldogs' shutout of the Red Rocketeers. The score would have been worse had Grace Leary, number 30, not kicked aside five other Canton scoring chances. The sophomore goalkeeper was named our North TV Player of the Game, as a result.

We were in Franklin last Friday, October 22 for Tri-County’s home football game against Blue Hills, a 32-8 win for the visiting Warriors. Junior receiver Kody Kubacki , number-21, accounted for all of Tri-County’s points, scoring a touchdown on a 71-yard pass reception and then catching the two-point conversion to be named our North TV Player of the Game.

Grace and Kody will each receive personalized DVDs of their games and a Player of the Game t-shirt in their school colors.
