Test 3

One hundred years in the making

NORTH ATTLEBORO - It was a day unlike any other.

Never before has there been a day set aside for members of the media to meet with administrators, coaches, players, cheerleaders and band members in advance of an Attleboro vs. North Attleboro football game.

Then again, Tuesday's Media Day was a 100 years in the making.

The Blue Bombardiers and Red Rocketeers will meet Saturday morning to commemorate 100 consecutive years of Attleboro and North Attleboro battling on the football field.

Attleboro principal Bill Runey, North Attleboro principal Peter Haviland, Attleboro head coach Michael Strachan and North Attleboro head coach Donnie Johnson addressed members of the media representing Attleboro and North’s cable access stations, Boston and Providence television stations and newspapers.
