NORTH ATTLEBORO - Route 152 was shut down Tuesday afternoon for more than an hour after a car struck a utility pole near 233 Kelley Boulevard just south of Bungay Road.
The accident occurred at about 3 p.m. and snapped a utility pole resulting in live wires coming down across the road.
It was reopened about 4:30 p.m. for southbound traffic and later for northbound traffic.
Another accident, involving two cars, occurred nearby on Kelley Boulevard at Bungay Road about 5:30 p.m.
It was one of three accidents in North Attleboro on Tuesday.

As that interview was ending, an alarm alerted the chief about a fire at 695 East Washington Street.
Reported as a shed fire, it was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived and spread to the back of the building that houses Best Pizza Market and Gridiron Liquors.
