BOSTON - The House version of the state budget for fiscal year 22 includes extra funding to replace ventilation equipment for schools.
The money was part of an amendment to Gov. Charlie Baker's budget to help districts like North Attleboro.
State representative Adam Scanlon was involved in the amendment, which passed unanimously in the House.
The budget now moves to the state Senate before going to the governor.
Scanlon discussed the amendment and other additions during a visit to the North TV studio on Wednesday.
