NORTH ATTLEBORO - The Blue Bombardiers of Attleboro will be the visiting team during Saturday’s Century Game at Community Field. The game will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first game played at nearby Columbia Field.
It was originally scheduled to be played on Thanksgiving Day 2020 at Attleboro's Tozier-Cassidy Field but was sidelined, along with the rest of the season, due to COVID.
Although it won't be played in late fall and on the holiday, it will still make for a special day.
The AHS football captains (William Runey III, Michael Strachan Jr., Ryan Grover and Trainor Sherck), cheer captains (Rylea Bogacz, Sarah Delpozzo and Morgan Young), drum majors (Caroline Butler and Allison Morin) and color guard captain (Peyton Crowe) told North TV during Tuesday's Century Game Media Event what it will be like being a part of Saturday's event.
