NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA – The number of reported COVID-19 cases and deaths increased throughout the area again this week.
A grim milestone was reached, and then passed, in North Attleboro when eight additional deaths were reported in a seven-day span.
“It’s sad, it really is; it’s what we were fearful of, it’s those that are most vulnerable that have underlying diseases that they just can’t seem to shake off when they do get the COVID infection, they’re just not shaking it off the way you and I, without underlying diseases, can shake it off,” the town’s Public Health Nurse Anne Marie Fleming told North TV on Thursday.
