NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports staff was busy covering four games in five days last week.
We were at North Attleboro’s Gary Dinardo baseball diamond Monday for the Red Rocketeers 5-2 loss to Foxboro.
The King Philip gymnasium was the site of Tuesday's King Philip three-set loss to Durfee.
We were at North Attleboro’s Beaupre Field Wednedsay for the Red Rocketeers 17-1 boys’ lacrosse rout of Attleboro and we closed out the week back at that same field for North’s 9-7 win over Oliver Ames in girls’ lacrosse.
Our Player of the Week was North Attleboro’s Brady Backner. The junior attacker and midfielder scored eight goals in the Red Rocketeers bashing of the Blue Bombardiers.
Brady will receive a copy of the win over Attleboro on a USB drive and a Player of the Week t-shirt in North Attleboro red. We’ll announce our Player of the Week for this week next week at this time.
