WRENTHAM - It was another busy week for the North TV sports crew with five games in five days, all LIVE on our Community Channel.
We were in the King Philip gym Monday, September 23, for the Warriors 3-0 blanking of North Attleboro.
North’s Pickering Gymnasium was the site of our next game on Wednesday, September 25, when the Red Rocketeers were shut out again, this time by Oliver Ames.
We were outside at the Raymond E. Beaupre Jr. Field for boys’ soccer the next day, September 26. Both teams scored late as King Philip and North Attleboro played to a 1-1 tie.
Viewers were provided two games on Friday night, September 27.
The Red Rocketeers routed Oliver Ames 51-0 in Easton to improve to 4-0 on the season. They are currently ranked second in the division-3 rankings.
We were also in Wrentham Friday for King Philip’s 21-6 victory over Foxboro. The Warriors are also ranked number-2 in the division-2 rankings.
Our Player of the Week is King Philip volleyball’s Fiona Bailey. The senior outside hitter, wearing number-6, had 10 kills and two aces in the Warriors’ win to be named our North TV Player of the Week.
Fiona will receive a copy of Friday’s game on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in King Philip gold.
