NORTH ATTLEBORO - It was a relatively quiet week for the North TV sports crew, if you can call four games in five days quiet.
We were inside the McIntyre Gymnasium at Bishop Feehan on Monday, Sept. 22 for the Shamrocks’ 3-1 volleyball win over Archbishop Williams.
Our crew was outside on Thursday at the Raymond E. Beaupre, Jr. Field Thursday for girls’ soccer, a 4-nil rout of the Red Rocketeers by Mansfield.
We were back at the Beaupre Field Friday for North’s 35-7 blowout of Oliver Ames in Hockomock League football action.
A second crew was in Foxboro with King Philip for the battle of football unbeatens. The Warriors rallied from a 12-0 halftime deficit pull out their fourth win of the season, 15-12.
Our Player of the Week, for a second straight week, wears number-17.
Bishop Feehan’s Mia Barnes, a junior setter, had 12 kills and six aces as the Shamrocks bounced back from a first set loss to beat Archbishop Williams 3-1.
