NEEDHAM - If you live in Massachusetts and are registered to vote you probably received a registration card from Secretary of State Bill Galvin with information on how to vote by mail for the state primary on September 1 and the presidential election on November 3.
Senator Becca Rausch, who represents North Attleboro and other communities in the area, has been at the forefront of the fight to allow state residents an alternative to going to the polls on Election Day.
Vote by mail was part of legislation Rausch filed in the senate earlier this year. She discussed that bill and the secretary of state's mailing in an interview this week with North TV.
