NORTH ATTLEBORO - It may soon pay to shop or dine in town.
Town Manager Michael Borg is finalizing a program that would allow customers of town businesses to earn $10 for every $100 they spend at participating stores and restaurants. The money would come from the funds the town is receiving as part of the American Rescue Plan Act to help businesses recover from the impact of COVID.
The Big Red Bucks program was one of many topics Borg addressed this week during a recording of his monthly show “The Town Manager’s Report.”
