NORTH ATTLEBORO - A crowd of more than 50 people gathered for a Black Lives Matter vigil Sunday afternoon (June 28) on the William Kelly Field adjacent to the North Attleboro Middle School.
The event was organized by 18-year-old Jocelyn Jackson and was the second held in town since the death of George Floyd on May 25 at the hands of Minneapolis police.
North TV’s Government Channel Coordinator Kevin Daggett was on hand to capture remarks and a nine-minute moment of silence when attendees took a knee.
