NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North TV staff brought viewers three games during the April school vacation week, including a lacrosse doubleheader on Patriots Day.
The Bishop Feehan boys slipped past King Philip 12-11 in the 11 a.m. opener.
The Shamrocks completed the sweep of the Warriors 12-9 in the 1 p.m. game that followed.
We were inside for boys’ volleyball game Tuesday afternoon. Barnstable made the most of their trip off the Cape sweeping King Philip on the Warriors’ home court 3-0.
Selecting a Player of the Week was easy.
Michael “Mikey” Ferraro had a double hat trick, scoring six goals in the one goal win over King Philip. The junior, wearing number 21, had half of Bishop Feehan’s dozen on Patriots Day to be named our Player of the Week.
Mikey will receive a copy of that game against King Philip on a USB drive and a Player of the Week t-shirt in Bishop Feehan green. We’ll announce our Player of the Week for this week next week at this time.
