NORTH ATTLEBORO - The last week of the regular season for spring sports was busy for North TV with four games in five days.
We were at King Philip Monday, May 18 for baseball. The Warriors lost a pitcher’s duel with Taunton in falling 1-0.
After an off day on Tuesday, we were at the William Kelly Field for Foxboro’s 4-2 softball win over North Attleboro.
Construction of the new school at Tri-County has forced the Cougars baseball team to play their home games at Plainville’s field of dreams. Tri-County prevailed in nine innings 3-2 over Old Colony.
We were back at the Kelly Field Friday for North’s nonleague game against Medway. The Red Rocketeers corralled the Mustangs 17-5.
Our Player of the Week comes from that game.
Senior Grace Forman went 4-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs to earn POTW honors.
Grace will receive a copy of that win against Medway on a USB drive and a Player of the Week t-shirt in North Attleboro red.
