PLAINVILLE - Badly needed improvements to the intersection of Routes 106 and 152 in town is a step closer to reality after the select board approved acquiring and taking permanent and temporary easements for the Taunton Street and Messenger Street intersection improvement project.
When completed, all four streets leading to the intersection will feature lanes for left turns, straight and right turns.
