NORTH ATTLEBORO - The awards ceremony for the solid waste department's recycling contest was held Monday night in the department of works meeting room.
Kindergarten through fifth grade students in all five of the town’s elementary schools were asked questions about recycling with first, second and third place winners drawn from each grade’s correct entries.
Solid Waste Director Laura Munon, Town Manager Michael Borg, School Superintendent Dr. John Antonucci and North TV Board of Directors' President Ron Lagasse addressed the students and their families before the awards were presented.
