Bridge to downtown reopens

NORTH ATTLEBORO - One of the main roads leading into the downtown reopened Wednesday.

The century-old bridge spanning the Ten Mile River on Chestnut Street was replaced, forcing closure of the busy street which leads to the police station and South Washington Street for almost a year.

Department of Public Works Director Mark Hollowell spoke to North TV about the project on Thursday.
