NORTH ATTLEBORO - Last week was once again busy for the North TV sports crew with games Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – all LIVE.
North Attleboro’s Pickering Gymnasium was the site of Tuesday’s boys’ basketball thriller. King Philip had to rally late to overcome the upset-minded Red Rocketeers 61-58.
We were in the same gym the next night for wrestling. North Attleboro cruised to an easy 56-17 rout of Oliver Ames.
Tri-County hosted Diman Thursday night in boys’ basketball. The Bengal’s upended the hometown Cougars 60-45.
We closed out the busy week back at NAHS. The Red Rocketeers’ girls lost to Oliver Ames 50-38 on the hardcourt.
Our Player of The Week comes from Wednesday’s wrestling match, Brianna Burns. Wrestling at 106 pounds, Brianna pinned her opponent to set the tone for the Red Rocketeers big win.
