Champ highlights big week at Roosevelt School

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Roosevelt Avenue School students celebrated Halloween Thursday night.

The school’s Parent Teacher Group hosted a Family Fright Night featuring Trunk or Treat, music, games, pumpkin carving, a costume contest and a book fair.

Trunk or Treat was held in the school’s back lot from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The event was the second in a busy week for students at the school.

Former New England Patriot, Super Bowl champion, and now author, Malcolm Mitchell visited second grade students on Monday and read from his children’s book, “My Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World.”
