Council approves funds for Fisher College purchase

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council unanimously approved the funds to purchase the Fisher College building.

The town has a $2.3 million purchase and sale agreement to buy the building and move the town’s senior center, along with a regional food pantry to the original home of the former Donley Manufacturing. It later served as offices for Bristol County Savings Bank.

Similar plans to renovate the former Allen Avenue School would have cost the town more.
