NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town water was on the agenda when the town council met for the first time since a document, written by the Department of Environmental Protection, stated tests at the McKeon Water Treatment Facility found elevated levels of polyfluoroalkyls (PFAs).
The city of Attleboro and numerous other municipalities issued similar statements over the past few weeks.
DPW Director Mark Hollowell explained the issue to councilors Monday night.
