NORTH ATTLEBORO - The winners of the 2023 Reduce, Reuse, Recyle coloring contest sponsored by the town's solid waste department and run by North TV were honored Thursday night at the department of public works building.
First, second and third prizes were awarded for students in kindergarten through fifth grade at the Amvet Boulevard, Community, Falls, Martin and Roosevelt Avenue schools.
The first place winners in each grade will star in recycling public service announcements over the next year on North TV’s four channels.
Speakers at Thursday’s ceremony included Solid Waste Director Laura Munson, Town Manager Michael Borg, Assistant Superintendent of Schools Michelle McKeon and the president of North TV’s board of directors Ron Lagasse.
