NORTH ATTLEBORO - Representatives for Pawtucket Credit Union appeared before the town’s zoning aboard Tuesday night seeking variances in order to build a branch at the corner of Chestnut Street and East Washington Street (Route 1), the site of the former ABC Vacuum building.
Replacing the longtime eyesore leading into the downtown with a new building will be a major improvement for the area.
