NORTH ATTLEBORO - The final week of the fall sports’ season was relatively quiet for the North TV sports staff with only three games in a five-day span.
We were at the Beaupre Field Monday for North Attleboro’s 4-nil shutout of Foxboro.
The Red Rocketeers’ football team took to the road Friday night at Foxboro, closing out the regular season with a 19-14 loss to the Warriors.
The Warriors of King Philip had better success in their season finale, winning at Attleboro 35-7.
North and KP both earned home games in the first and second rounds of the MIAA football playoffs.
Our Player of the Week for the last week of the regular season is North Attleboro’s Tyler Dameron.
The junior midfielder, wearing number-20, recorded a hat trick, scoring once in the first half and twice in the second to be named our North TV Player of the Week.
Tyler will receive a copy of the win over Foxboro on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in North Attleboro red.
