NORTH ATTLEBORO - The zoning board of appeals, Wednesday night, approved an affordable housing project at 150 Draper Avenue.
The 40-unit, four-story apartment building will replace a single-family home between the CarMax auto dealership and a Sturdy Health medical facility.
Residents in the neighborhood which runs from Route 1 to Allen Avenue had voiced oppositing citing traffic concerns.
Members of the ZBA explained why they were approving the application before the formal vote.
