NORTH ATTLEBORO - With three churches, the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish is the town's largest community of faith.
The large number of parishioners who turn out to celebrate Mass each week at Sacred Heart, St. Mark's and St. Mary's churches create unique problems a week after Gov. Charlie Baker lifted restrictions that prevented services at houses of worship.
The Rev. Rodney Thibeault told North TV last week that he was concerned about reopening the three buildings he oversees, especially for older worshippers most vulnerable to COVID-19.
The parish has found a solution...holding Masses outside.
