NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town Manager Michael Borg announced during Monday night’s town council meeting the Federal Emergency Management Agency has denied Gov. Maura Healey’s request for a major disaster declaration for Massachusetts.
The designation would have made Bristol County and other counties across the state eligible for federal aid. Healey has said she will reapply.
North TV spoke to Borg on Wednesday about the importance of the aid.
