NORTH ATTLEBORO - The Roosevelt Avenue School is raising funds in hopes of constructing a playground for students to use during recess.
The small neighborhood elementary school has never had a playground, forcing students to play on the pavement or grass on the side of the building.
The fundraising drive is the subject of a new edition of “Inside Look” currently running on North TV's Community Channel: Comcast channel 15 and Verizon channel 24 in North Attleboro and Comcast channel 11 in Plainville.
The episode features interviews with Roosevelt Principal Jeannine Magliocco, parents Sarah Hackett, Stacy Blaisdell and Marisa Allen and teachers Paulette Murphy and Bridget Gay.
