NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North Attleboro and King Philip football teams were off the week of September 30, so it was a relatively quiet week for the North TV sports staff.
The NAHS Beaupre Field was the site of games on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
We started the week with the Red Rocketeers 3-nil loss to Oliver Ames in girls’ soccer.
Our crew was back the next night for North Attleboro’s 3-1 loss to Foxboro in Hockomock League field hockey action.
The Red Rocketeers closed out a disappointing week with another shutout, this time at the feet of the Attleboro girls’ soccer team, 2-nil.
Our Player of the Week is North Attleboro’s Grace Gouck.
The senior goalkeeper, wearing number 30, allowed three goals in the Red Rocketeers field hockey loss to Foxboro. The score would have been much more lopsided, however, had it not been for the 15 saves she made; two-thirds of those coming on 10 Warriors corners.
Grace will receive a copy of the Foxboro game on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in North Attleboro red.
