Healey favored as early voting begins

NORTH ATTLEBORO & PLAINVILLE: Early voting is underway throughout Massachusetts in advance of the November 8 state election.

Registered voters can cast ballots in North Attleboro at the town hall on Saturdays through October 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays through November 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday through November 3 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays through November 4 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Plainville voters will cast ballots at their town hall Saturdays (October 22 and 29) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Monday, October 24 from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.; Tuesday, October 25 through Thursday, October 27 from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.; Monday, October 31 from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, November 1 through Thursday, November 3 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The upcoming election was one of the topics on the agenda during a recording of “Up for Discussion” with Sun Chronicle columnist Mike Kirby and radio talk show host Paul Healy.

There was a discussion about the apparent easy road to the governor’s office for attorney general Maura Healey.
