NORTH ATTLEBORO - Longtime town resident James “Jim” Perskoski passed away last weekend after a multi-year battle with multiple myeloma.
A graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, “Mr. P.,” as he was known by hist students when teaching at his alma mater in the late 1970s, earned a law degree by attending night classes at Suffolk Law School.
He began his career as a Special Assistant District Attorney in 1979, opened his own office in 1993 and practiced privately for 20 years before accepting a position as the Assistant Clerk Magistrate for the Attleboro District Court in 2013.
A devoted family man, he leaves behind his wife, Maureen, and his children Carey, Jared, Evan and six grandchildren.
James "Jim" Perkoski was 73 years old.
