PLAINVILLE - Jeff Johnson is returning to the select board for a third three-year term.
The current chair of the board easily defeated former select board member Stanley Widak, Jr. in Monday’s annual election, 578 to 218.
Only 812 residents cast ballots or 10.6% of registered voters.
Johnson and Widak joined North TV’s live election night coverage at Plainville town hall moments after the announcement was made he would be returning for another term.
