ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports staff kicked off the spring sports season last week with three games.
We were in the King Philip gym a week ago Thursday for boys’ volleyball. Unfortunately, Dighton-Rehoboth downed KP in the season opener 3-2.
We were in Attleboro at Feehan’s McGrath Stadium Saturday, March 30 for a lacrosse double-header.
The King Philip boys defeated the host Shamrocks 17-6 in the opener.
The KP girls completed the sweep by also beating Feehan 17-6.
Nicole - Nikki - McDonald led the way with five goals and four assists to be named our North TV Player of the Week.
Nikki will receive a DVD copy of KP’s win over Feehan and a North TV Player of the Week shirt in King Philip gold.
We’ll announce our Player of the Week for week two of the spring sports season next week at this time.
