NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports staff kicked off the spring season with three games last week.
North Attleboro and Foxboro faced off Monday, March 31 at the Red Rocketeers’ Beaupre Field. The Red and White were pummeled 19-6 in the season opener for both teams.
We were a few miles away at Bishop Feehan’s Beach Field Tuesday, April 1 for the Shamrocks’ 12-2 win over Sandwich.
Wednesday’s April 2 Taunton at North softball game was rained out, but we were back at NAHS the next day, April 3, for boys’ lacrosse. North nipped Sharon 8-7 for their first win of the season.
Our Player of the Week for week one is Colin Lahiff.
Feehan’s designated hitter, a junior wearing number-10, was 2 for 2 with 4 runs batted in and one run scored to be named our first Player of the Week of the spring season.
