NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports crew covered a pair of games over the past week.
Our staff was at Tri-County Regional High School on Friday the 13th for the Cougars boys’ lacrosse game against South Shore Voke. It was a horror show for Tri-County, as they lost by a score of 9-2.
Tyler Leonardi scored both of the Cougars’ goals to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
We were at King Philip on Wednesday for Hockomock League Kelley-Rex Division baseball action. The Warriors rolled over visiting Attleboro 15-1 in a game that was called early because of the lopsided score.
Quin Garstka pitched four innings for the Warriors. The senior faced just two batters over the minimum, striking out five and walking none to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
Tyler and Quin will each receive personalized DVDs of their games, Player of the Game t-shirts in their school colors and North TV sports bags for their performances.
