NORTH ATTLEBORO - The last week of the spring's regular season was the busiest yet.
The North TV sports crew covered four games in five days.
We were at King Philip’s Macktaz Field Monday for KP’s 19-5 crushing of Canton in girls' lacrosse.
After having a day off, we were back at King Philip on Wednesday for boys’ volleyball. The Warriors clinched a slot in the state tournament with a 3-0 shutout of Medfield.
We were outside at Bishop Feehan’s McGrath Stadium Thursday night. The Shamrocks won a thriller over rival North Attleboro 11-8 in boys' lacrosse.
The week ended where it started, at King Philip. The Warriors’ baseball team withstood a Westwood rally to prevail 9-5.
Our Player of the Week comes from Thursday night's game. Cooper Masso, wearing number 14, scored six goals – more than half of Feehan’s 11 – to earn Player of the Week honors. The junior attacker resides in Norfolk.
Cooper will receive a copy of that game on a USB drive and a Player of the Week shirt in Bishop Feehan green.
