NORTH ATTLEBORO - Dozens of residents braved the wet and windy weather last weekend to pay their respect to those who fought for freedom in a ceremony held under tents at Barrows Veterans Memorial Park.
The ceremony included comments from Veterans Agent Rebecca Jennings, former Town Clerk Kevin Poirier, State Representative Adam Scanlon, Council President Keith Lapointe, local clergy and others.
