NORTH ATTLEBORO - A North Attleborough Electric employee working on line while in a bucket repairing power equipment damaged by a squirrel suffered burns to his face when there was an “arc flash.”
The Sun Chronicle reported the lineman was taken by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with burns similar to a sunburn.
North Attleborough Electric General Manager Peter Schiffman explain to North TV on Wednesday details of the accident.
