NAED working to keep rates affordable

NORTH ATTLEBORO - If you’re responsible for the family budget, you know that the inflation rate isn’t subsiding, although it did drop slightly in August.

The Labor Department announced on Tuesday the rate for the month was at 8.3%, down from 8.5% in July.

While gasoline prices have dipped recently, electricity prices have risen 15.8% in the last year.

The subject was one of many addressed during a recording of "The North Attleboro Electric Show’s Summer/Fall Edition" premiering this week on North TV’s Community and Government channels.

"The North Attleboro Electric Show" can be seen in its entirety on North TV’s Community and Government channels: Comcast channels 15 and 98 and Verizon channels 23 and 24.
