NORTH ATTLEBORO - College scholarships totaling $237,000 and other academic awards for members of the senior class will be announced Monday night (June 8) at 6:30 on North TV's Education Channel: Comcast 9 and Verizon 22.
The virtual edition of the the high school's annual Senior Awards Night can also be streamed starting at that time by clicking the link to the video below.
The scholarships are awarded by the North Attleborough Scholarship Foundation, the North Attleborough Scholarship Committee and other local outside groups.
Once known as the Formal Class Night, the event traditionally features students assembled in the high school's Pickering Gymnasium in formal attire.
Restrictions put in place to curtail the spread of COVID-19 prevented administrators from holding the ceremony this year.
North TV's Education Channel Coordinator Jared Ware worked closely with administrators to produce the 38-minute virtual edition of the awards ceremony.
