NORTH ATTLEBORO - When North Attleboro High School celebrates the class of 2023 on June 2nd, it will be extra special.
Not only will it be the first big event at the refurbished Raymond E. Beaupre Jr. Field, a member of the graduating class, Michael Simonian, will next be attending the United States Military Academy at West Point after moving his tassel to the side at the conclusion of Friday's ceremony.
North TV spoke to Simonian about the process of being accepted, along with NAHS Principal Peter Haviland, North Attleboro and Plainville Veterans Agent Stephen Travers and North Attleboro Economic Development Coordinator and West Point graduate Lyle Pirnie.

Simonian is actually the second NAHS grad to be accepted into West Point, quite an accomplishment for a small Massachusetts public school.
The other was Montrel Jackson.
North TV wishes them both the best.
