NORTH ATTLEBORO - People who were alive on November 22, 1963, the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated, vividly remember where they were that day.
The same is true on September 11, 2001 when the twin towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were attacked by terrorists using commercial airliners as weapons.
Students at North Attleboro High School were years from being born that tragic day, but they took part in the school’s annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the Raymond E. Beaupre, Jr. Field.
The student-led ceremony included moments of silence and remarks from North Attleboro resident Glenn Carrano, who served as a protective security advisor with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
