NORTH ATTLEBORO - The future home of the senior center and council on aging at 451 Elm Street had to be used this week after the heating system failed at the current center, the historic Howard Estate.
The former Fisher College building hosted classes and programs Monday and Tuesday while repairs were made to the heating at the current center.
The former Howard Estate is owned by the North Attleboro Housing Authority, who leases the building to the town for the senior center.
