PLAINVILLE - The controversy over Flock cameras is in the news all across New England.
Officials in a number of Massachusetts and Rhode Island have ordered the removal of the tools police use to track cars after a crime is committed or banned them before they can be installed.
While Plainville uses an alternate version of the automated license plate reading cameras, there are still concerns over privacy.
The cameras were discussed when Plainville Select Board Chair Jeff Johnson visited the North TV this week for the recording of his bimonthly “Chairman’s Report.”
