PLAINVILLE - The town’s budget for fiscal year 2027 was approved by residents during the annual town meeting on May 18.
Although it lasted three hours and 47 minutes, town officials were impressed by the knowledge of the three dozen articles by those in attendance.
Town officials have made a concerted effort on educating residents about the warrant by previewing the town meeting here on North TV and walking through the agenda during a mock town meeting two weeks before the actual meeting.
