NORTH ATTLEBORO - The spring season ends this week with our cablecast of the King Philip at North Attleboro baseball game Friday afternoon at Community Field.
The North TV staff recorded three games over the past week, beginning with the Blackstone Valley at Tri-County girls’ lacrosse game a week ago Thursday. Tri-County won by the score of 8-5 thanks to the dominating play of Meghan O’Shaughnessy, who finished with five goals to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
Our crew was back at Tri-County the next day for the Cougars 17-2 loss to Blue Hills on the baseball diamond. Joseph Thomas singled and scored both Tri-County runs to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
We were North Attleboro’s William Kelly Field on Monday for the Red Rocketeers 4-1 softball win over Oliver Ames. Grace Simmons singled, had a sacrifice bunt and an RBI to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
The announcement of our Player of the Game from Friday’s baseball game will take place next Friday at 7 p.m. during the "North TV News."
Meghan, Joseph and Grace will each receive personalized DVDs of their games, Player of the Game t-shirts in their school colors and North TV sports bags for their performances.
