NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town officials held a service as part of the National Day of Prayer Thursday night in from of town hall.
Organized and emceed by town resident Deniese Sheppard, the event consisted of leaders representing various segments of the town offering prayers for the church, business and the workforce, education, military and first responders, government, and the arts, media and entertainment.
The Rev. David Costa offered the prayer for the military and first responder. Costa will be returning as pastor of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish on June 21.
