NORTH ATTLEBORO - It looks like the area will be spared the worst of what Tropical Storm Debby delivered down south.
At the time of the recording of this week's "North TV News," the track of the weather system was heading further west than meteorologist originally predicted.
That would spare the town and the rest of the area the type of rain that hit Florida and the Carolinas earlier this week.
When the total rainfall is measured, however, it still could top three inches.
North Attleboro’s preparation for Debby and the numerous other systems expected to move up the east coast this season were discussed when Town Manager Michael Borg visited the North TV studio Wednesday for the recording of his monthly program.
