NORTH ATTLEBORO - You may have noticed the new signs upon entering North Attleboro and Plainville designating the communities as Purple Heart towns.
The program is set up to express gratitude to the sons and daughters of a town who were either wounded or killed in combat defending the freedom enjoyed by all Americans.
North Attleboro, Plainville and Wrentham Veterans Agent Stephen Travers dedicated the North and Plainville signs on Thursday.
